I bought this with the intention to use it over the campfire, but when I got it and it showed it being issued on a stovetop. I was skeptical. I kept it anyway and used it last night for burgers. I set this baby right on the grate provided by the campground and proceeded to bet my husband $5 it would crack. But it didn’t. The burgers were delicious, which were cooked on the grill side, and so was breakfast, which was cooked on the griddle. I found the surface area to be sufficient, even though I was concerned about it when I got it. Would be best for a small family…we’re a group of 3. I owe my husband five bucks.
I bought this to make burgers on my grill. I couldn’t be more pleased with it. The material is thick and durable and holds heat excellently. The size is just big enough for 4 burgers at once. I feel like this is a great value and lived up to my hopes.
This thing is so awesome! You can take it camping and throw it over a fire or use it over your stove at home and cook lots at once! One side is perfect for grilling meat and things and the other side is perfect for grilled cheeses, pancakes, etc.
