I bought this smoker about a month or so ago and it was the best purchase I have made all year. It was suppose to be a gift for my husband but I have been the one using it more than he has. This is perfect for someone who is a beginner in smoking. Have already recommended this to many of my friends.

No more waiting for friends to bring me smoked meats. Best investment I have made! It’s like taking your cooking outside. Easily my favorite is cherry wood smoked chicken.

This is the best smoker I think I could have ordered. Cooks meat well, don’t have to worry about it. And the food is soo good, my family loves it, buy it you will not be disappointed!

I’ve owned this exact model-bought also on Walmart.com. Last about 5 months of weekly use (I’m an avid year-round BBQer). That one was a replacement of another Masterbuilt electric smoker that lasted 6 months before the element went out. Masterbuilt 1-year warranty consists of:
    *registering the product
    *emailing them your issue
*in my case they emailed within a week but said the part they identified as the problem was out of stock. 2 months later I contacted Square Trade, who I had wisely elected secondary coverage on the unit. They hesitated to pay it out until I explained how Masterbuilt had failed to provide the part; love SquareTrade!

A month later (3 months after contacting Masterbuilt about the unit failure), replacement part showed up from FedEx. Too bad I had already disposed of the smoker.

Thank you for your honest review! I’m sorry for all the trouble you had with your smoker.
