The last time I did this, it didnโ€™t work.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! SO sorry to hear that. Were you able to speak with customer service? Hoping this deal works smoothly for you if you decide to grab it!

      • Lori

Just an FYI, I didnโ€™t think I got mine either. I called customer service and they had applied it to one of my subscribe and saves. This might be whatโ€™s happening to other people

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing! Good to know!

    • Shelley

Same happened to me. I received an email that I would get a credit, but I didn’t get the credit. I contacted Amazon twice and finally got that credit from June 2 added yesterday!

  2. Lu1962

I did this the last time but Iโ€™m not sure I ever received the 10. Credit!? Where do I find it?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! This would have been added to your account 2 days after your qualifying purchase. It will apply to qualifying items sold by Amazon. Hope this helps!

    • KKenn

I didn’t see a credit in my account initially. It only shows up in my cart after I added an item sold and shipped by Amazon. Hth.

      • Freedom

I did it last time and was able to do it again this time.

  3. kristi-3

Getting message reporting code canโ€™t be applied, so not working for me.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

DARN! I still find this to be valid as I click through now. Maybe wait a moment and try once more.

  4. MJ

If I did this last time it was posted (over a week ago) can I do it again or is this the same promo and you can only do one per account?

    • Lauren

      I have the same question!

      • RK

        Me three ?!

        • RS

It worked for me. I was able to take advantage of both this offer and the one about a week ago. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

It looks like this may be a new offer as here are the offer dates listed – “beginning 12:00 a.m. (PT), June 21, 2021 and ending 11:59 p.m., June 22, 2021 (PT).”

It does have a limit of one per account.

    • Dursen Saygin Hinczewski

I was able to use it again today. Go for it.

    • Lori

It worked again for me just now.

  5. Lissa C

I also thought it didn’t work for me so I called and they said it would automatically apply on a qualifying purchase. For me, it popped up when I ordered food that was shipped by Amazon. So it does work, but not on every purchase. Check to make sure in the gift card balance section of your account. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful comment! Good to know how it worked for you!

  6. GAmommyof4

Iโ€™ve tried 3 times and Iโ€™m not seeing the โ€œpop-upโ€ yelling me that the order qualifies.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hmm, were you able to apply the code to your account? Also, be sure your purchase is sold by Amazon. Hope this helps!

  7. MereDeDeuxAnges

It does work if you do it on desktop. It worked for me the last time H2S posted this and yes, it works again this time. Both times on desktop. Works for my husband too (separate accounts). You will see the $10 credit when checking out for your next order (after receiving the $10 credit in your email).

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful tip! We sure appreciate it! Glad you could score the deal!

      • MereDeDeuxAnges

Of course, Amber! I thank H2S for posting this deal!

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

          You bet! ๐Ÿค—

  8. IowaGirl63

Got this last time your posted and it did work again for me! Thanks again for posting H2S!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      GREAT! You’re most welcome!

  9. rachel-7

Worked for me last time from my phone. Thanks!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Woohoo! You’re welcome!

  10. Kristie Speakman

Omg…. I have tried this so many ways but it keeps telling me that the code doesn’t apply. I don’t understand what “products” you all are buying to qualify but it doesn’t say anything about buying anything other than $40 gift card. So what is the deal? What am I doing wrong? I really don’t want to have to spend an hour on the phone with customer service either before or after buying the gift card.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! Be sure you have applied the offer to your account and that your gift card is sold by Amazon. Hope this helps!

  11. Helen

I did the reload option so I have no clue if it worked, it just reloaded the gift card. I tried an e-card and it says code does not apply to this order. I recommend to future deal savers to skip the reload option since you will not have option of seeing message that it is in fact being applied. Iโ€™m hoping I get an email with $10 promo ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ.

    • HipMomof3

I did it the same way and no kind of confirmation that I’ll get it. I did try adding a $40 Amazon gift card just now to see if I get the message before placing my order and the message is there regarding the $10 promotion. I’m not sure it’s working with reloading a card.

      • shayla

is there a particular card you add the $ to? Iโ€™ve tried two difference decorated ones (one flamingo, one cupcakes) and neither gives me a message about the primo (in fact getting error message canโ€™t be applied). what gift card does everyone use???

    • Helen

Update: I just got an email with $10 promo so the reload did work!

  12. Minde

It worked for me again. You have to make sure it is sold by Amazon is the trick. Most of these gift cards seem to be sold by a third party company. It won’t work with them.

    • Casey

Yep it’s a lot easier to just click on the “eligible products” listed on the promo page to take out the guess work.

    • Kat

I tried this a million times on the app and in the browser in my phone. Kept saying it didnโ€™t qualify. I tried on laptop and it said congratulations my order qualified for the credit. That seems much more promising.

  13. rcrawfo1

What are your tricks for finding things that qualify? I’m almost starting to wonder if this deal was worth it as it’s been a hassle. I put in the search bar ‘items shipped and sold from Amazon only’. Yet it continues to bring up items that do not end up qualifying once I put them in my cart.

    • hip2trade

I donโ€™t have a trick for it but I found that the set of 4 โ€”32oz Palmolive with oxy dish liquid is shipped and sold by Amazon for $10.78. Always a useful product. Makes a great deal after the $10 credit.

  14. Misti

    awesome thank you for posting

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome, Misti!

  15. hip2trade

I was wondering if you could buy seperate Amazon gift cards totaling $40 to receive $10 credit? After reading the post it doesnโ€™t seem so but curious if anyone had tried it.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes! It looks like that should work! – “Reload $40 or more to your gift cards balance, or add $40 or more in select Amazon.com Gift Cards to your cart.”

      • hip2trade

        Ok thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

          You’re so welcome!

  16. LittleBird

Got it, Just in time to order swimsuits for my daughters! Thank you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re very welcome!

  17. ATM

I just did this and i got the popup saying that congrats your order qualifies for $10 credit however i tried purchasing a product ship n sold by amazon and it didnโ€™t deduct $10, anybody received their credit if so how fast? I received a confirmation email last time about the credit but none this time ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

    • Lunafalls

It says the credit will post within two days. It’s NOT immediate. Watch for an email in 24-48 hours, or try your order again after 48 hours.

  18. Annie

    Thanks

  19. Jean

Hi, just an fyi, because i did reload and didn’t get an email yet. So i tried to do it again and got a message that the promotion has already been loaded to my account. So I read a little more carefully and it said “You will receive $10 promotional credit to your account two days after your qualifying Amazon.com Gift Cards purchase.”

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Thank you, Jean!

    • Eatplantsyo

Um, definitely not true. Both husband and I have got them in the past from separate accounts and we are able to get them again this time.

      • Eatplantsyo

Oops, I meant to reply to Melissa below! My apology ๐Ÿ™.

  20. Melissa

PLEASE NOTE: This is for first time gift card buyers only. If youโ€™ve ever bought an Amazon gift card in the past, you will NOT receive the credit. Just verified with Amazon. Itโ€™s only for new gift card purchasers. Thanks!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

It does not say that in the terms, Melissa. It even says you can reload gift cards. I was able to qualify and I have bought many gift cards in the past. I think the Amazon rep misinformed you.

    • Jennifer Lisa

      That’s definitely not true. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

  21. Kelsey

    Not working

  22. robby69l

I did the free $10 with $40 gift card on 6/2/21, and the $10 was applied in a few days. Also got $2 video money by choosing regular shipping. Was able to do it again today 6/21/21. Ordered an $8.77 desk pad, added the $40 mailed gift card. Got offered $3 video credit this time for regular shipping. Rarely do these work back to back, but it did this time.

  23. atm

This is the pop-up I received – Qualifying offers: Congratulations on your gift card purchase. Your first Prime Day gift card purchase qualifies you for an Amazon.com credit. A $10 promotional credit will be automatically applied to your account and emailed to you within two (2) days after order completion. Offer has a limit of one promotional credit per Amazon.com Prime account.

  24. Diane

I had this exact same experience with another Amazon promotion. They offered a free credit but the credit is invisible until you purchase a qualifying item and of course the credit has an expiration date. Amazon is banking on its customers will not choose a qualifying item or will forget about it until it expires then it cost them noting. I made several calls to Amazon customer service but I wasn’t given the credit I was promised. I was even told that my credits had expired. However since I had printed out the terms and conditions I knew that that was not true. I wrote to the corporate marketing director of the large corporation that co sponsored the offer. It took several more calls to Amazon but I finally got my credit added to my gift card balance so I could see it and use it. I also kept the large corporation in the loop so they could see how I was treated by Amazon.

  25. lk

    Easy! Thanks so much.

  26. Mitchell Glantz

I clicked the button to apply the code to my account and then did a $40 reload to my gift card balance. There was no confirmation or mention of the offer being applied. I just assumed I would get in email in 2 business days. If I didn’t see any sort of pop-up announcement or mention of the offer in my confirmation of reloading, does that mean I didn’t get it?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Go back to the original page and click “apply the code” again. You should get a message that you have already use the offer so you know you’ll get the credit.

      • atm

I did the offer, received the congratulation pop-up and I tried doing it again to check as you stated and is giving me the same pop up saying congratulations again, I obviously did not complete the 2nd transaction but at least on my account (laptop computer) could not see the already used it anywhere, not sure why.

        • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

It sounds like you earned it. It takes up to 2 days to actually receive the credit, atm.

  27. Mitchell

    Thanks, Jennifer,

When I clicked the button to apply the code again, it told me I had already used it so hopefully there will be an email with the promo credit in a couple of days.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Wahoo! Thanks for following up, Mitchell!

  28. Dana

Didnโ€™t work for me or two other people I sent it to. โ˜น๏ธ

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

DARN! I wonder if customer service may be able to help.

  29. riss

Worked for me ๐Ÿ™‚ i clicked to activate the offer, but nothing about the free $10 egiftcard on the check out page. I remember last week I bought egc and didn’t get the $10 free egc. Someone said to go to the desktop version, and I purchase another $40 on the desktop version, and that worked. So that’s what I did again today, and still worked!

    • Kristie Speakman

Thank you, the desktop version worked for me!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the helpful comment! Good to know what worked for you, Riss!

  30. Michelle

I reloaded $40 yesterday and never had a pop up or anything. Today I received an email with my $10. I also did it last time and it worked the same way. Thanks!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Oh good! You’re welcome, Michelle!

  31. Briana

Bought gc yesterday, still havenโ€™t received anything

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Bummer! Maybe check with customer service to look into this for you. Some that have had issues have been able to get help that way.

  32. Casey

Got my $10 credit today. Thanks Hip2Save!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Woohoo! You’re welcome, Casey!

  33. Jan

I had to call customer service to get both of my $10 credits.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the update, Jan! SO glad they were able to help!

  34. ATM

Got my credit just now! Yeyy!

  35. starfarm

I did not get my $10 credit. It does say on the promotion that it will take two days from the time of purchase of the gift card for the promotional credit to appear. Fingers crossed that tomorrow is the day. I did speak with an Amazon rep who told me that I had to spend the $40 gift card before I get the credit. That just does not seem right…puzzled in Wisconsin.

    • Debra

That isnโ€™t correct. I topped off my existing gift card by $40 yesterday, and received my $10 promo amount today.

  36. Jo-Ann

Purchased yesterday, received my credit today. With this $10 credit, plus the similar GC deal, and the small business credit, I was able to get a total of $30 in credit, which helped me purchase groceries and other items with additional savings. I also selected no rush shipping, so will have additional credits for digital purchases. Many thanks, H2S!!!

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Woot! Way to take advantage of all those deals, and we’re so happy we could help!

  37. Mitchell

I had mentioned last night that I had applied the code to my account via the aforementioned button but received no confirmation whatsoever at the time of my purchase . I am happy to say that I just received an email saying that I was given the $10 credit and that it expires August 7. I wonder if it is only items sold by Amazon directly that qualify. Anyway, I hope that helps put others mind at ease who never received any confirmation after buying their gift cards or reloading (in my case I reloaded $40 into my gift card balance ie not even reloading a gift card).

  38. Brindha

Got the 40$ gc yesterday got the credit today and used it today lol… Thank you Hip2Save. You guys make it so easyโค๏ธ

    • Mitchell

I just used mine as well so the offer definitely worked even though it didn’t bother to confirm it was active at the time of purchase or in the email confirming the purchase right afterwards.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Aww, You’re welcome, Brindha! Super glad we could help you grab it! ๐Ÿค—

  39. Lissa

Never got the $10. Tried to buy Amazon items to see if the credit would show up, nada. Finally talked with Amazon. They tried to say the $10 credit for shopping small business was it, but I knew otherwise. So, now they have sent an email to the Marketing Department about it. You know, I saw the blurb for the $10 as I checked out. Definitely believe I did everything asked of me, but Amazon dropped the ball. I hope to get the credit promised.
