I have been reading for years about the dangers of reheating food in plastic containers so finally got rid of the plastic and love the glass containers. I really like the lids which I also had with my plastic containers.
I tried turning containers holding liquid upside down to see if they were really leakproof. They are. I would guess that makes them a bit difficult to open if you have arthritis in your hands. I love that I can vent the containers for microwave use. These are the only containers I found that allow lids to be used in the microwave and are dishwasher-safe.
