On Sunday, August 1st, from 1 PM – 4 PM or while supplies last, select Verizon Wireless Zone stores will be handing out FREE backpacks filled with essential school supplies – no purchase necessary! There is a limit of one per child and your child must be present to receive a backpack.
Backpack supplies are first-come, first-serve, and in previous years they have been claimed very quickly. So, if you’re interested in participating in this promotion, you may want to get there early!

Not impressed. I live in Missouri and no stores are listed. Seems like it is more the northeast part of the country for some reason.

That is the problem. The corporations give, but raise prices and encourage you to spend more to support their endeavors!
