Seeing this box of crayons (ON SALE!) brought back happy memories of my childhood. I felt the same pleasure as I did as a first grader when I opened the box to see all of the neat points of colors and inhaled the freshness of a new box of crayons. Absolutely recommend.
I bought these crayons for myself as I have learned there is much peace and serenity in simply coloring. These crayons are very strong and have beautiful deep colors. I am happy with my new find and I have thoroughly enjoyed coloring.

The crayola washable markers are $1.30 (limit 5). I added them into an order with the crayons, some of the regular crayola markers (includes the 2 bonus neon colors for 97 cents), and some of the 77 cent pair of scissors. Won’t be delivered until Sept 20, but no big deal. I just hope they don’t cancel.

I went to Staples.com and put the 64-count Crayons (6) in my cart; went back to fill in the card/shipping info, and Staples changed the price from .81 to $4.09!!! When I called them to complain and to ask for the original special offer price, the woman on the telephone told me I was “mistaken.” Bait and Switch…No more Staples shopping for me…
Oh, and I’m a Rewards Member, not worth anything, deal-wise…

Yup, just got an email that my order was cancelled too. As others have said, I’m done with staples. Rewards member too. Got these for my class.
Oh and just looked. They still have them in stock! Only $3. Bait and switch. They aren’t out of stock, they don’t want to sell them for .81.
Ok I called corporate. For anyone who ordered and it was cancelled, Staples is claiming it was an online pricing error and they cancelled all orders. They claim the deal was never meant to be picked up at stores or valid in stores, either. I even asked what the correct price should have been- maybe 1.81, 2.81, a typo from 0.81. She claimed it was supposed to be 4.09. If that’s the case, someone who programmed this couldn’t read numbers.

Don’t forget that you can sign up as a teacher if you homeschool or if you’re an actual teacher. It gets you a discount and special events – at my store in Dover DE, there’s a teacher’s event on 8/21. I think it also lets you get more items like for a classroom set. You have to register for it – not just ask for the teacher discount.
