Lands’ End backpacks have amazing reviews and are available in a ton of fun designs and they can be personalized. You won’t need to grab a new backpack each year for your kiddo, because readers have mentioned these backpacks wash well and last for years! Sweet!
Our readers are big fans of these backpacks…
Landsend backpacks are amazing. And if you have any issues they will immediately replace them. In all the years I bought backpacks for my daughter from them, I only had to return one for a broken zipper, and they replaced it without question monogram and all.
We have both Pottery Barn and Lands End and I actually prefer the Lands End quality. They’ve all held up for many years, especially with one rough boy, while my Pottery Barn one that I’ve had for 3 weeks already has a stuck zipper.
These backpacks are the bomb-diggity! My kids have only ever used these and we’ve even used the lifetime guarantee once. My 6th and 8th graders now use the classmate extra-large backpacks and they easily fit a Chromebook plus a 3″ binder plus another 1″ band binder plus a lunch bento box & water bottle plus sweatshirt plus a few small personal items. It’s a full backpack, don’t get me wrong, but they get it all in there.

These lunch boxes feature a large zippered main compartment and a smaller zippered pocket on the front. These are also insulated on the inside to keep your kiddo’s food cold until lunchtime!

Does anyone know if the small size backpack would fit a 1” binder?
Hi, the website shows a picture of the small backpack with a binder and folder in it, so I’d assume yes!
Free shipping??
Hi there! Here are the current shipping details – “Shipping is FREE on orders of $99 or more; otherwise shipping starts at $9.”
Is there any promo for free shipping? You have to spend $100 for it to be free right now
Hi Jackie! It appears that shipping starts at $9 OR is free on orders of $99 or more. I have added the shipping details to the bottom of the post. Sorry for any confusion.
Thank you! Bummer, was hoping for free shipping ☹️
You’re welcome! We’ll keep an eye out for any free shipping deals that pop up.
Landsend backpacks are the best However their shipping has gotten exorbitant!! They used to always offer this backpack deal for a few days with free shipping around back to school time
I used to LOVE them but the 3 last backpacks that I bought (for my son, my daughter, and myself) their zippers broke. They do have warranty but they charge you to send them back.
Can you return items at kohl’s?
Hi there! Here is what I found on that – “Landsend.com, Lands’ End store and Lands’ End phone orders CANNOT be returned to Kohl’s.”
You can find their full return policy over here.
Hope this helps!
Got the medium backpacks this year for my 6 and 9 yos and the should straps seem to be rubbing on their necks, causing them discomfort. It’s almost as if the straps should be farther apart. Maybe they just need wearing in. 🤷🏻♀️
