We call this plant mother-in-law’s tongue. I definately need the fake version. Can’t keep a real one alive.

Yup, Mother-in-Law’s Tongue here too. I can see how it would be called Snake Plant though and possibly a little less offensive to all of the mother-in-laws of the world. 😉

        LOL!

This is a pretty fake plant but the real ones are fairly easy to keep alive. They are one of the best air cleaners, as far as plants go. Get a fake one, and try a real one too! The key is to not OVERWATER. I water mine every two weeks.

I have had two real ones indoors for years and they are thriving. I water them every couple weeks. When the soul is completely dry I giving it more water. I have a planter full outside. They were 3 sparse plants. And now they are so over grown I need to pull some up and start them in a new area. They grow very fast. And they survive transplanting very very well.

I have an incredible brown thumb. Orchids, money plants, succulents, cacti, you name it, I’ve killed it. Got a snake plant when the pandemic started. Omg. They’re still alive and thriving. I water every other month. But sometimes I forget which one is my watering month. Still alive. 🤭 Highly recommended. Also, I’ve heard you can keep these in the bedroom at night, unlike most plants that are recommended to be kept out of the bedroom.

I have this plant and it is high quality. So many people can’t believe it’s fake! It is very realistic.
