This is my first time using a pizza stone, so there is nothing to compare it to. I bought it to make my own pizza and have used it twice. The stone itself works great, just like it’s supposed to…my pizza construction skills, however, need some improvement..hehe. I like that it had a stand/holder too as the stone is very hot when removed from the oven.
We had a pizza rock for a long time, but it eventually cracked and broke apart. We tried a cast iron pizza pan but did not like it as we do pizza in the oven rather than the grill. My husband noticed this one, so we ordered it and it is a little gem. It does discolor from the grease but otherwise is easily cleaned. The rack is handy to carry the pizza to the desk. I do recommend this product.
