There are other brands that are a LOT cheaper and they do the same thing. We got a Crazy Loom at TRU. They were running a promotion but I think Target and Walmart also carry them. You can get them for less than $10.
Just saw your reply… I got mine on Black Friday for the ridiculously low price of $14.99. Yeah, that’s the regular price now. So if you want the Rainbow Loom brand, I’d just get it. But what do I know?? 😛 Good luck to you!
If you don’t mind an off brand, Ollie’s has had the loom for $4.99 and the packs of bands for $.49, I got a bunch for a birthday (looked like I spent a lot) and I ended up spending less than $10.00 and her daughter had like 1,000 bands. Her husband was not so amused, but the bracelets have been awesome.
I wonder if the 40% coupon works on Kinetic Sand @ Michael’s?
It’s not listed as an exclusion on the coupon, but it appears to be on sale this week for $15.99 so you wouldn’t be able to use it anyway. Reg price is $17.99. 🙁

I was at A.C. Moore on Saturday to use their 55% off 1 regular price item, we picked up a canvas got to the register and the canvas was on sale 40% off. I was a little frustrated that we looked and there were no indications that any of the canvases were on sale. I love the coupons for A.C. Moore, but this was not the first time I got to the register thinking an item was full price to find out it was on sale.
