How do you calculate per roll prices? And what is your stock up price per roll for tissue paper and paper towels?

    • CouponAddictforLife

Take the price and divide it by the number of rolls
      Example: $9.99 for 36 double rolls = 9.99/36 = $0.28 per double roll
I usually like to look at single roll prices so it would be $9.99/72 = $0.14 per single roll (Anything under $0.25 is a good sale for toilet paper and anything under $0.50 for paper towels is good in my opinion)

      • Vivian

I feel skeptical of all these double roll claims, seems like all of them are double rolls and bounty has the 8=12 rolls, are these claims truly accurate, or are they exaggerated, or are the sheets shorter to make a higher quantity? I always wonder.

        • Jennifer

You have to compare the total lengths. Double is closer to being accurate than mega for sure. None are that far off.

        • P

Toilet paper and paper towel rolls are shorter than they used to be. So they can claim the same amount of sheets/length of roll. But it’s shorter

        • Jennifer

I know!!! I for sure know the Scott Extra Soft toliet paper is shorter now. I had an old and new package and it is a big difference! Manufacturers must think we are all dumb….

          • Chick106

Yep. They do this with diapers and wipes now too! You pay the same price you always have for a jumbo pack but you get about eight diapers less. Wipes used to be 72 count, went to 64, and are now at 56!

        • Michelle

I have found that the best measure if you are trying to compare across brands and sizes is the total square feet. All rolls and sheets are not the same size, but you can’t debate total square feet!

  2. laura

    Are these easy to cancel

    • Heather

Very easy! Just log in to your account and look under “my subscriptions”, choose the item and cancel. 😊

      • laura

        Thank you

  3. Penny

Anyone know when this offer expires?

  4. Katie

Anyone gotten this to work? I have been trying all week with the viva with no luck

    • laura

I just got mine to go through

    • Lara

Katie – i had to call customer service to make it work. i got a pack of the papertowels, and a pack of the eligible toilet paper and $10 did not come up nor was the $5 GC showing. I called customer service, she looked it up and advised that I was correct and that she had a ticket entered. I had to pay the basket total and then she issued me a $10 refund and sent a GC to my email for $5. My total was $4.99 before taxes for both items. Hope that helps.

      • Jennifer

The $5 gift card deal says for nonsubscriptions only, so it is one or the other ($10 off for 2 items with a subscription or a $5 gift card with 2 items without). That is why only one or the other will show up.

        • Lara

oh I didn’t realize that. neither option showed up which is why I called customer service and she she looked at it, she applied both options. Guess I got lucky.

          • MAMA2014

Yep…just confirmed the same with CS.

            • tia

so can we get the gift card too or nah?

            • Lara

Tia – it doesn’t look like you can any more. I did my deal on Monday and when I clicked the giftcard explanation box, it was generic. I clicked it a few minutes ago and they had added that it was non-subscription. So now its either or. The website is super slow now though.

  5. Jess

Can you do it more than once?

    • jen eagar

      Yes!

      • Jess

Thank you! I was trying for the ultra comfort care cottenelle and for some reason it would not work on that variety…

  6. Jess

The website is slowing down and it took the paper towels out of my cart saying they were no longer in stock. Better Hurry!

  7. jeff

Thanks so much! Viva for the price of store brand paper towels. Awesome deal!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome πŸ™‚

  8. jeff

    Side note 8 pack viva rolls @ Wal-Mart $8.97

  9. Sarah

The gift card is not valid on subscription orders.

    • Jess

      Still a great deal!

  10. sara

Is viva better or sparkle? for paper towels…

    • Jennifer

I think just about any brand is better than Sparkle.

      • jeff

        Very true

  11. jeff

Viva is more cloth like than sparkle

So i did target chat and they are super nice
I did two orders and didnt get gift card either time

They worked with me to get it situated

Now just need to wait for email e gift card

    • cbeths

You cannot get the gift card and the $10 off (for subscriptions.) Its one offer or the other.

  13. Lori

The 10$ discount they told me would not apply until the order shipped (didn’t show up at checkout) and then my card would be charged.

    • L

My cottonelle tp showed the $10 discount off immediately and I only paid the actual cost and tax. I don’t know if I would take their word Lori.

    • cbeths

It should come off immediately if you chose subscription. If you do not chose subscription you should get the $5 gift card. There are two offers, but you can’t have both.

  14. Kristi Pitts

BEWARE when doing a subscription with Target! I had a subscription, then cancelled it after it shipped. Everything cool? No, I got an email about 3 months later saying that they were preparing my shipment, again, I went into my account and cancelled it! My order arrived a few days later, I called customer service and they said there was a glitch in the system that didn’t cancel my order, they were saw that I had cancelled my subscription months back. They decided to refund my total AND let me keep the paper towels but it was such a hassle to finally cancel the subscription!

    • Jen

I know it was a hassle last time I ordered the bar of soap deal I had couldn’t cancel it online ! And I had to get them to cancel it but couldn’t cancel it until 3 weeks later good thing I put 28 weeks later to have it sent out . But beware too cause they also said it was a glitch

    • Chantel

I too just recently had this happen. I canceled a subscription, got the confirmation, then got a shipping notice so I logged on and canceled the subscription again and got the cancellation confirmation. Several days later they shipped the subscription and charged me! I can no longer get to the subscription management screen in my account. I am going to have to go to the local store to return these items. Very frustrating.

      • faye999

I had he same experience. It is so frustrating because I got an email reminder for a subscription I had canceled. I went in to cancel it again. Next day, reminder of shipment notice for subscription. Canceled it again and got a 3rd notice. I canceled once more. Today, I got the shipment and my credit card was charged. It is simply ridiculous! They have no business trying to manage subscriptions. I will stick with amazon.com fr subscribe and save and NEVER use Target again for subscriptions.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer. So Sorry to hear that. πŸ™

  15. sara

is viva better or scott better for paper towels

  16. Stefanie

All 3 of the Viva paper towels are showing as “shipping not available” for me πŸ™

  17. Diana

    For the Kleenex deal, 120 (I think they’re 1-ply?) count 8pk. So we’re paying $6.79 per 8pk, 85cents a box,(around $0.0071 per sheet) for this Subscription order.

If you don’t mind picking up in store, this might be a better deal:

There’re other promo going on with other paper products: Get $5 GC wyb 2, as well as $10 off $50 for store pick-ups. And some of the other Kleenex bundles are included:

Kleenex Everyday Facial Tissues 160 (2-ply) Count 6 Pack @$8.59ea,
    Get 6 = 51.54, -$10 for store pick-up, and get 3 $5 Gift Cards,
Total after all discounts and GC = 26.54
    $4.43 per 6ct, 74cents a box, (around $0.0046 per sheet)

    Hope this helps! πŸ™‚

    Thanks Collin!
