Several readers have stated they buy multiple pizzas from Papa Murphy’s when they are on sale and freeze them! Reader Nancy bought 4 the last time they were on sale for $5 and said they freeze very well – she didn’t add additional Saran Wrap and didn’t thaw before cooking them and they turned out great!
Does anyone know if these pizza’s are like their normal pepperoni pizza’s? I called recently on a special and I just can’t remember if it were these “FAVES” and the lady told me that the pizza’s were more like an appetizer pizza withe extremely thin crust. Just curious – TIA 🙂
I can compare a FAV cheese to a regular cheese pizza there. The FAV is indeed thinner and less cheesy. However, I can feed my 5 kids (2-8 years old) with one regular FAV and I am assuming that this large one is bigger than the usual FAV.
I ordered this last week and it is an extremely thin crust. I did not enjoy it but to each it’s own.
Great to know they freeze!! It’s a little bit of a drive for me so that would make it worth it if I could buy several and freeze them!

This is always the case. It’s not just today, they’re just advertising it.
We get $5 favs for our weekly pizza night and have been for several years. We just say we want the $5 fav pepperoni (or suasage) when ordering.

I have never heard of Papa Murphy’s. Do they only have take and bake?
Yeah, it’s only take and bake. They don’t bake the pizzas at all. They do have some other items like salads, breadsticks, dessert pizzas, etc – those have to be baked as well (obviously not the salad).

It’s our favorite pizza!
It’s a 14″ Large pizza. Family pizzas are 16″. Just in case anybody wants to know. It took me forever to find the size online! It doesn’t sound as appealing if it’s thin and less cheesy. Has anyone else had this experience? I”m trying to decide if I should make the trip or not!
Yes it’s a little thinner and less cheesy but you still save $$$ if you add your own cheese.
These are 5.00 everyday 👍🏼. Less toppings and thinner crust than originals.
