I grew up drinking Swiss Miss hot chocolate made from powder packets. I’ve always loved the flavors. After trying out Abuelita Mexican-style hot chocolate, I now have a new favorite. No more Swiss Miss for me! I decided to try Mexican hot chocolate after hearing about it in films such as Chocolat.
The flavor of Abuelita Mexican-style hot chocolate tastes smoother than Swiss Miss. And I love that it has a tiny kick from spices. It’s not spicy at all but has a little spice added for flavor. My mom is now obsessed with this brand of hot chocolate. She added whipped cream to the top of her hot chocolate for a special treat.
