I wanted to try this as a throwback to when I was a kid. Great activity to teach kids about erosion with an extra benefit to teach patience. The rocks supplied are all different kinds so you get different results. I must say though that it’s not necessary to tumble the full 7 days is suggested. 2-3 will work too.
This is super fun. My kids really love making smooth rocks to make jewelry. They also love to make them and give them to friends as gifts. My mom and Dad have even enjoyed it. At first, it was hard for the kids as it takes a long time for the rocks to be ready, but once they see the end product for the first time it’s worth it.
