The BEST pastry blender I’ve ever bought!!! This blender has an excellent silicone-like texture that makes it easy to grip and work the pastry. The ‘blades’ are very sturdy and much sharper than any pastry blender I’ve used making it very easy to cut into butter even when frozen. The blades are also spaced somewhat further apart making removal of pastry stick between blades easily released as well as making cleaning the blender a snap.

Plus, I used it recently to chop fresh herbs and garlic….so it’s not only for pastry!

My old arthritic hands (go with my old body) appreciate the padded handle on this blender. I had one but the handle was metal and when baking several batches of dog treats and blending peanut butter into them, my hands start to ache. Well, this solved that problem. Works really well.

This pastry cutter is lightweight but very sturdy. I used it when making pie crust and even used it to make mashed potatoes. It is easy to grasp. It was just a little bit difficult to clean because the tines are pretty close. I let it soak for a few minutes and then washed it and had no problem. I would definitely recommend it. It’s well worth the money and I am sure I will never need to buy another one.

After decades of using a pastry blender I have discovered the blending fork and it is easier to use and does a better job.

Oh, I’m going to try this for ground meat. My grandmother taught me to use it for egg salad and I feel so clever every time I do.

Thanks just got one. My mom has had one since I was a kid. She uses it to make biscuits. It was a staple in our kitchen when I was growing up.
