I wanted a little play kitchen that didn’t take up much room, for my grandkids to play with when they are over. Both the boys and the girls like playing with this one. It’s extremely sturdy construction and top quality. Love the metal pans and spatula that come with it.
Hape is a really great quality brand of toy, that I wasn’t familiar with. I highly recommend this, and will likely buy other toys by this brand. I like how durable the wooden toys are. And it’s just a really cute set too. More detailed than the Melissa and Doug wooden toys, although those are nice too. But this is better!
My toddler loves this set, and it’s been perfect for our small space! Even though we’re moving to a larger home next week, I don’t think we have any need to “upgrade” to one of those giant sets. Our son uses his imagination and “sets up” his kitchen anywhere he pleases. He also loves how real the metal cookware looks/feels/sounds.

Mama of 3 here. We’ve had the big kitchen set and this one. Totally prefer this kind! Takes up no room and can move easily to become “new” things. My kiddo would get bored of their big kitchen set and would stop playing, but when I moved it to a new spot, they would start playing. This one gets used so much because your TODDLER can easily move it to new spots all.the.time.
