My dogs were constantly tearing up their beds or they would lay on the ground. So I thought this would be good since there was no ‘filling’. But I was surprised by the quality and durability of these beds. They are great, my GSD loves it because she gets airflow underneath and doesn’t get at hot when she sleeps. My elderly lab loves it too because even though it is raised, she can still get on it easily and best of all, it keeps her hips off the ground and relieves pressure points.

I also bought a few more for my mom and sister’s dogs also. We have all switched to these. Plus, the cover can be replaced if it gets too worn or torn. But ours have lasted us over a year, which is an achievement for dogs who tore up their beds within a month or two. Get it.

My cat loves this thing! He’s getting older and wants to sleep in a warm place, but my lap is not often available. I felt nervous leaving a heating pad on for him. I was told by a friend that these things were safe and he’d probably love it. My cat is so cranky and contrary, I was certain he would turn up his nose at the new gadget.
