This was a replacement purchase for our old metal slicer. We have teens and ‘nobody’ apparently broke into our house and took it. To be honest, I am thankful for whichever bonehead disposed of the metal one because this new product is 200% better – it is sharp, comfortable on the hands, sturdy, and durable. I like it a lot – I bought 2 (one stays hidden in my bedroom).
I really like this tool. It’s heavy-duty and the blades cut well. For some reason, my apples taste better when I properly slice them 🙂
