The slicer/shredder is fantastic. It works just like it should and it’s the actual KitchenAid brand and not a knockoff. Plus it was on sale when I bought it. I have used it probably 25 times and no problems whatsoever, plus it’s easy to clean.
This is definitely a game-changer. I hated grating cheese so tried to hold off on doing anything that called for grated cheese. Now I am using it all the time, wish I had purchased it back when I got the mixer!!
Alright, I am going to admit it. I started shredding my cheese with a grater and shredding block after block of cheese is no joke as I am all about saving money by shredding my own cheese than buying pre-shredded cheese. This attachment made is perfect and cleaning is easy as long as you have a brush (definitely get yourself one) that can get inside the drum attachments to brush off any leftover cheese or whatever you have been shredding. Not much else to say other than I should have bought this a long time ago and saved my poor sore arms and hands.
