I have this machine and I LOVE it. It’s important to research and understand the cost of the coffee pods upfront. I have never found them at a discount, and they are not cheap. But this is a splurge that I find to be totally worth it.
Every cup tastes like it was made by a fancy barista. It steams any kind of milk, and even makes cold foam if you like an iced coffee. It’s pretty darn great.
This machine is amazing. It is a splurge, and the previous poster is right about the cost of pods. They do have reusable ones available, but they have mixed reviews and I haven’t tried any.
In the long run, if you really use this instead of going to a coffee shop, I can see it being a money saver. If it’s used to replace a regular coffee pot, though, definitely a splurge.
