Raised & Rooted Alt-Protein Frozen Spicy Nuggets 8oz

Target takes your nugget addiction to the next level!

Through February 13th, hustle on over to Target where they’re offering 50% off Raised & Rooted Alt-Protein Frozen Nuggets with a new Circle Offer.

Note that availability on these nuggets might vary by area.

These nuggets totally taste like the real thing, but they are made with a blend of pea protein, bamboo fiber, egg white and golden flaxseed.

“I’ve been plant-based for 20 years, but this pregnancy has me craving McDonald’s nuggets so bad! Never have I been more tempted to go back to meat in my life. Most veg nuggets I’ve had are pretty mediocre, but these are so close to what I wanted they brought tears to my hormonal eyes! The breading is not quite as thick as McDs but cooked in the air fryer these are amazing. I’m looking forward to trying the spicy version as soon as I find them in stock.”

This company needs to change their branding. “Plant-based”: Food that comes from plants and is free of animal ingredients such as meat, milk, eggs, or honey. Very misleading. Wonder how many people like myself who are actually plant based and wasted money. I think this is great for vegetarians; but call it what it is.

While I agree that it used to be misleading, I believe they have changed their formula so that it no longer contains eggs.

There are 2 different versions one contains animals. So I wouldn’t support them its misleading on purpose
