Here’s the buzz on the Ring alarm…
Alarm is easy to install. Affordable and dependable. I like the fact that one can self-monitor and receive alerts from the alarm, smoke, flood sensors, & cameras/doorbells without subscribing to a monitoring service.
I really like the ease of installing my ring system. I was able to connect it to all of my smart devices using my Echo Show. I can control everything by voice, keypad, or remotely by phone. I rarely use the keypad but that shows how easily it integrated with my other smart home devices. I also have the doorbell camera and added an auto door lock and auto garage opener. I replaced my old home security system with Ring and no longer pay a monthly bill because I self-monitor. Overall well worth the price.
DIY home security package that isn’t intimidating. Ring put a great deal of effort into making this easy to install while documenting every step along the way. If you go the DIY path you are able to add devices at any time – without calling an alarm company and waiting for them to show up while charging you not only for the device but also for a service call. If something breaks you either order another or find it to be covered under warranty. BTW Ring support is friendly, quick, and very helpful. Yes, I did have to call them for one problem that I caused…
Anyone personally own this? I’m interested but skeptical of the quality
I just bought this and the cameras. It a nice system for the price. Subscription is extra so do your homework. I bought the outside cameras to go with it and have 1 inside camera that I already owned. Hooking everything up did take a few hours. You can link to an Alexa device if you have one.
We have this and itβs too good π
YAY! So happy to hear that you’re enjoying yours! π€π
Iβve had this system for about 3 years now at two different houses. Easy to install, easy to use. Iβm happy with it.
AWESOME! Thanks for the helpful response, Rachelle! π€π
