I love mine and use it daily to dry dishes and drain pasta. Frees up a lot of counter space. Have purchased several as gifts for others with small kitchens and great for campers.

It would work on any size sink, just be sure to get a size that overlaps onto your counter a couple of inches. It does not need support on all 4 sides, ours rests on the counter on 3 sides, We have these in our RV and they are great!

Will this only work on a double sink? Thanks

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

No! Mine is on a single sink, but make sure you measure your sink first to make sure it fits, Terri!

        Thank you!!

I have a single sink and thought this wouldn’t be very useful- do you use it at the end of the day to dry things overnight? We have a sink in the island so I have my drying rack hiding by the fridge so as not to be the center of the kitchen. How do you sue yours? Thanks!!

        • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I use mine for A LOT of things! When I wash my vegetables and herbs I set them there to dry. When I clean my charcoal water filters, I set them there. When I water my plants with a good soaking, I set them there to drain. If I don’t use it, I just roll it up to the side, but honestly, I use it so much it’s rarely rolled up. I actually have a dish drying rack on the side of my sink that I use only for my dishes. If I have an oversized dish, it’s easy to put on the rollout drying rack.

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hey Linda, the price has gone up on this one. We have updated the post.

I have one of these and I love it. I have a double sink and wash/rinse in one sink and put this over the second sink. And when everything is dry, it rolls up and fits under the sink nicely. Eliminated my need for a big dish drainer hanging out on the counter top.

That’s awesome to hear, Julie! Thanks for letting us know how useful it has been for you!
