My son loves this train set. He put it together and he is only 3. Awesome starter train set.
Note the train is NOT powered which turned out to be a plus. Our grandchildren (3 and 6-year-olds) spent more time playing with this set on their own than with the powered Thomas set. Easy to set up, and as they get older the kids will be able to experiment with track layout alternatives of their own.
