This is a very high-quality storage rack for your garage or storage room! I use it to store garden tools, shovels, extension cords, etc. The racks are made of very durable metal, and the hooks snap onto the rack and are coated in a rubberized coating to reduce tool slippage. The hooks have upward-sloping ends to further prevent tools from sliding off, which is great. Each 16” rack has two rows of 7 mounting holes, evenly spaced; each comes with 8 mounting screws and drywall anchors, so I sent two pairs into studs and sent the other two pairs into drywall anchors. The mounting screws are good quality wood screws; they did not slip or strip.
The only minor disappointment is that the included drywall anchors are ones that are both quite rigid and also cylindrically shaped (as opposed to tapered ones you tap in with a hammer, which expand more when you put the screw in). This type of anchor does not expand very much when you put the screw in, and they don’t “grip” the drywall very well. This is NOT even remotely important if you’re mounting the rack into wooden studs, as most people probably plan to do; but, if you’re doing a drywall-only mount, I would probably spring for some Molly bolts or at least some better drywall anchors from your local hardware store.
