Can Ibotta be used with a Walgreens pickup order?
Great question, Tc! You can get a receipt for in-store pickup on orders to submit through Ibotta! 🙌 First, log in to your myWalgreens account, and then go to “Your Account” > “Emails & Alerts” > then un-check the box next to “Digital Receipts.” (You should only need to do this step one time, and not every time you’re doing a pick-up order, as it should save the settings in your account).
When picking up your order, be sure to head inside at your store to complete the transaction at the register. It’s also helpful to let the cashier know that you would like a paper receipt too. If you choose to pick up your order via curbside, there is no option for the associate to provide a paper receipt to you, as many of them have migrated to using a handheld scanner device. Whoops! Thanks for the heads up on that, Catherine. I dug in to the details of that code a bit more, and it seems that the code will apply to orders of $25+ (after discounts, cash rewards, etc.); however, it looks like the Hershey and Mars fun size candy is on “Deal of the Week” savings, which can be found by going to the “Weekly Ad” then “Deals of the Week.” Unfortunately, the promotional terms of that OCT15 code exclude Deals of the Week items. I was able to get it to apply to other items in my cart once I removed the candy. Thanks so much for mentioning this, and hoping it might be helpful to apply to other orders with Walgreens for you! ❤️

Great question, Raina. 💓 The wording of this Walgreens Cash offer is “Earn 31% W Cash rewards on $20+ spent on Halloween and Candy” which seems to fall under the threshold-type of Walgreens Cash promotions where you have to spend a certain dollar amount to earn WC. This means you wouldn’t be able to redeem your previously earned Walgreens Cash and earn in the same transaction. Bummer! ❤️

From my phone conversation, the representative said for this particular offer, that as long as the $20 threshold (required to earn the 31%) was met in a single transaction, after discounts, and before taxes, shipping fees, store credit, and redemption dollars (Walgreens Cash and Register Rewards) are applied, you’ll earn the 31% back. If you pick up your order and your Walgreens Cash does not apply to your account correctly, typically within 12-24 hours, you can reach out to customer service to discuss the missing rewards. The representative let me know that during checkout, it is an estimation of Walgreens Cash, and not always accurate. In addition, she strongly encouraged that customers didn’t try to earn and redeem Walgreens Cash in the same transaction, so that it does not affect their earning potential. Hoping this is helpful! 🤞❤️

Good question, Annette! 🤗 I did try clipping both offers and adding over $20 in items to my cart, but my estimated Walgreens Cash was only $5, so it seems that you may only be able to redeem one offer per transaction. Bummer!
