This Reader Created a Unique KIND Gift Using Snack Bars

Hip2Save reader, Asmae, was looking for a special yet frugal birthday gift to brighten her friends day. With the help of her family, she created a meaningful gift that let her friend know she was one of a kind!

I was looking for a special yet frugal gift for an extra special friend. She means a lot for me and my family. I thought a personalized gift would be the way to go.

I bought a bunch of Kind bars and asked everyone in my family to write notes for her, telling her just how special she is. I attached a note to each Kind bar with a ribbon. Then put everything in a box. The result was a “kind box”, my friend can enjoy a healthy snack and a kind note. The gift turned out pretty neat and it cost me less than $20!

My friend loved her gift, the expression on her face was priceless. I think a special gift does not have to be expensive, it just needs some thought and imagination and most of all, to be heartfelt.
