This DIY Makeup Remover Really Works & You Only Need 3 Ingredients

Are you spending money on pricey makeup removers?

Makeup remover is something many of us use, but you shouldn’t have to spend a ton of money on it every month or two. Why not make your own?! It’s actually easier than you’d think! 🙌

This DIY makeup remover recipe uses just 3 ingredients that you might already have at home! It’s a far less expensive option for how much makeup remover it can make. And the best part? It really does work—tried and true!

DIY Makeup Remover

Measure two ounces of water and pour into an empty bottle.

Add about 7 drops of almond oil and 1/4 teaspoon of tear-free baby shampoo to the water. Shake well and apply to face with a cotton swab!

Hip Tip: Make application easier with this One Touch Pump Dispenser!

This DIY makeup remover really does get the job done!

I tested out my homemade makeup remover on foundation, a hot pink lip stain, and a dark brown eyeliner. After 2 swipes, my skin was makeup-free!

It’s also nice to know EXACTLY what’s in your beauty products so you don’t use something that could irritate your skin. Almond oil is full of Vitamin E, but it won’t leave you feeling greasy like other products do. And considering I have leftover ingredients, I’m set with DIY makeup remover supplies for a while!
