At the age of 71, I know a thing or two about music and what it should sound like coming from a speaker. I also know what it should NOT sound like. I wanted a small portable speaker to toss into a travel bag and the Sony SRS-XB12 got me there, but not until after a long and exhausting journey. I am amazed at the clarity of vocals and instruments, as well as the natural tones of the bass.
This is easy to use and the Bluetooth connects to my smartphone in about 2 seconds and the quality of the sound is simply amazing! Make sure you go into the settings on your phone and check the volume level because some reviews have said this Sony unit doesn’t have enough volume. Not so, as I can blast my neighbors indoors with this little speaker and it’s well worth the money. My son has two Bose speakers and he paid $200 each. I paid $58 and my sound is just as good.
