I love Melissa and Doug brand toys because they are well-made, sturdy, and durable. This toy will be around long after my three-year-old niece grows out of it, so it can be regifted to another child. There are just not many toys made with quality to last these days. The bus itself is such a smart idea and will fuel many hours of imaginative play.
Already my niece feels compelled to load the extra seats with other toy characters (Lego characters, dinosaurs, little play people). Apparently, she thinks the more passengers the merrier! It’s cool that you can pull it back to make it go forward… so simple even an old great-aunt could figure it out (mostly because my niece showed me).
Since she loves Blue’s Clues, this was a win-win. Great concept and execution!
My son LOVES this interactive bus. He likes moving the characters around in different spots & playing with the door & stop sign. It keeps him busy for a while so mommy can do other things in the meantime!
