This thing is awesome! I actually enjoy cooking on it. Once you get it seasoned, which is not very hard to do, it is super easy to clean. What I hated about grilling was the open slats and the clean-up, and I would always want to lift the lid to check things out. With this, none of those problems exist. I’ve been able to cook crab cakes, cut-up chicken (grilling chicken can be difficult but not on this), pork chops, and some excellent burgers.
My neighbor ended up getting one too! I’m glad I got the 28″ as it has been plenty big for my family of three, but part of me wishes I got the 36″ now that I’ve gotten more into using it!
Let me tell you how much I love this product! I already have one at my house in Virginia and I will be celebrating my 50th birthday at a Montana rental property in June. I purchased another Blackstone Flattop and had it delivered to the rental property so I could use it every day we are on vacation that week.
I won’t even be bringing it back home to Virginia, I don’t think I can take it on the plane. That is how much I love this product. I am donating it to the rental property when our vacation stay is over.
