I like keeping a list of things we run out of, so I put this on the fridge, and as we run out of things like ketchup, mustard, etc. I just jot it down on this pad. Then whenever I’m going to the store I can take a picture and there is my list. Also, it’s good to write down appointments for things that I don’t want to forget. You could also write notes for family members. I think it would also be good for a school locker. It comes with a little removable magnet on the front and 4 permanent magnets on the back for mounting. It also comes with one black dry-erase marker. Very lightweight and doesn’t take up much room.
