Love restaurant salsa? Try this easy recipe full of flavor and chunky bits, just like your local restaurants!

  • Two – 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes (try the fire roasted variety)
  • 1/2 bunch of cilantro
  • 1/2 white onion
  • 3 green onions
  • 2 jalapeños, seeded (more or less depending on the heat you prefer)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)

In a high powered blender or food processor, add cilantro, jalapeno, onions, garlic, and lime juice. Pulse until chopped finely (if you like salsa a little chunky, just process a few seconds!).

Add tomatoes and pulse a few times to combine.

Stir in cumin & salt to taste and serve with tortilla chips.

Makes about 5 cups of salsa. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator.
