Grilled Salmon Marinade

If you're looking for an outstanding salmon marinade, check out this yummy salty and sweet recipe using just four simple ingredients!

Ingredients

  • 1.25 pounds salmon fillets (or larger piece as shown)
  • 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • salt
  • garlic powder

Directions

Season fish with salt and garlic powder to taste.

In a bowl, mix together oil, water, soy sauce, ginger, and brown sugar.

Place marinade and fish in a large plastic resealable bag for at least a couple hours.

Preheat outdoor grill to a medium heat and lightly brush some oil over the barbecue grates to prevent the skin from sticking. Place salmon on the grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side, and discard marinade.

You’ll know it’s done when the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Garnish with chopped green onion and sesame seeds if desired. Serves 4-5.
