In 2021, many major retail stores including Walmart and Target closed for Thanksgiving Day, with lots of others following suit.
Best Buy, Kohl’s, Costco, and Sam’s Club are just a handful of other major retailers that also remained closed on Thanksgiving Day in 2021.
In order to help you make your Black Friday plans for 2022, we’ve compiled a list of stores and retailers that are expected to close on Thanksgiving this year. While many stores haven’t released their plans for 2022 yet, some have already confirmed that they will be closing on Thanksgiving, like the CEO of Walmart recently has on the TODAY Show.
With that in mind, we created this list based on the information we have from retailers who have confirmed their holiday hours for 2022. For those retailers that haven’t released that information yet, we anticipate them maintaining holiday hours similar to what they did last year. Most retailers have been following a predictable pattern since COVID shook things up in 2020.
