Here are the top options for the best kids water table:

1. The Step2 Waterfall Discovery Wall is perfect for sharing!

This kids’ water table would be great in a smaller yard since it’s taller and less bulky than others. My Hip sidekick, Chelsey, has the Discovery Wall and LOVES it!

Here’s what she had to say:

“I love that it is a standing water table, because what’s more amazing than watching waterfall for little kiddos?? 🤣 Plus, there are 2 sides and so many moving accessories – I was HOPING there would be more sharing and less fighting – so far, so good! I also love the stand-up design because it takes up less space.” – Chelsey

2. The Little Tikes Magic Flower Water Playset has four levels of fun!

Little Tikes Magic Flower Water Table $50.99 (regularly $59)

The Magic Flower water table has four different levels, so it’s the perfect playset for kids of multiple ages! The little ones can enjoy the lower levels while the older kids can play with the upper features. Everyone will love watching the flower “bloom” with water and playing with the spinning turtles or one of the 10 included accessories.

Here’s what one reviewer said about their Magic Flower water table:

“This Magic Flower water table is so much fun, my 5-year-old would not stop playing it for hours! The assembling process took about 30 minutes, but the instruction manual is well-written with detailed pictures and very easy to follow.

My son loves the stacking turtles as well as the flower, which opens when he waters it. All the accessories that came with it are super fun and designed just the right size for my toddler to explore water play. This is a great and very engaging water table, it also seems very durable and should be able to provide a lot of fun summertime memories!”

3. The Little Tikes Anchors Away Pirate Ship has a ton of interactive toys!

Here’s what one reviewer said about her Anchors Away water table:

“My 2-year-old son loves it! It was literally the best 80 bucks we’ve ever spent on him. It comes with so many toys to go with it. He loves dipping his head into it and getting soaking wet. We even bought those water beads to go in it and they go perfectly with this water table. I highly recommend this one over any of the others. It’s nicely built and very sturdy!”

Here’s what one reviewer had to say about her Starplay water table:

“Love it! My kids use it for water and cloud sand. Either one has been a huge hit. I like that it’s big enough for all 4 of my kids to play around, yet I can fold it up to store easily.”

“This is probably one of the coolest ‘toys’ we have ever purchased. It’s durable and looks great. I absolutely love that we can take it anywhere; especially since we travel often. I’m so glad we decided on this over a stationary table (which we’ve had in the past). Highly recommend!! The whole family has enjoyed it.”

7. Sling some fun with this Step2 Duck Dive Water Table!

This duck dive water table features a 5-piece accessory set including two rubber ducks and a water-squirting frog. It even has a little water slingshot so all the toys can dive into the water!

Here’s what one reviewer said about their Step2 duck dive water table:

“This is the perfect water table. We have had one for years. This one was purchased for a friend who didn’t have one yet. Her 3-year-old and 1-year-old love it! It’s preferable compared to a baby pool because it uses less water, is safer, and can be used even when it isn’t hot outside.

Even a very young toddler can use it because it is sturdy enough to lean on when learning to stand. In the winter months, can be taken inside and filled with other materials as a sensory table. I love step2 outdoor products! Very well made and reliable!”

I was just in Target this morning and they have $5 table top water/sensory tables. The associate was kind to go to the back to get a box out of them. She said they can’t sell them quick enough. Just FYI.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh wow! Thanks for the heads up! We’ll have to check for those!

I’ve been looking for those for weeks and at multiple Targets. I want to use them for Kinetic Sand. They are supposed to be in the Dollar Spot/Bullseye’s Playground, but no luck finding them. I looked in the back in the seasonal area as well, again with no luck.

Is there supposed to be a #3 on the list? It skips from 2 to 4.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Whoops! Thanks for catching that! We’ll get this updated!
