I love how all of these makeup palettes lay flat and store so nicely in the super awesome box that they come in. Coming from a person with super-sensitive, acne-prone skin and giving this makeup set a full week’s trial, I can say with complete confidence that my skin loved this makeup! And that’s also coming from someone who lives in Arizona (aka the makeup-melting capital of the world).

The foundation & concealer palette isn’t overly thick and they definitely don’t feel caked on after applying them. I also found them all to be very blendable – perfect for highlighting and contouring, plus there are so many shades to choose from to match your unique skin tone!
The pigment of the blush/eyeshadow palettes was so rich and only required a swipe or two to achieve the true color.
Then there’s the lip palette which is probably my absolute favorite part! I’m all about finding the perfect lip color and while I was expecting the shade to be slightly less tinted than it looks in the actual palette, like so many other lip products, I could not believe how vibrant each lip shade was! Even the more neutral-toned ones still added some incredible color!

Here are a few of my favorite stand out features of the Shany Cosmetics set:
- I LOVE that the concealer palette included the mint-greenish concealer option. Little makeup insider tip – I recently learned when placed over reddish acne/zits it helps hide them like MAGIC and I was so impressed that this palette did just that!
- In the lip palette, the 1st color in the last 4th row was hands down my fave! I’m really into lavender tones right now and this color was the perfect girlish color without being overly pinky. It’s so pretty!
- And if I had to pick a favorite palette overall it would be a tie between the All Day Affair palette & the Let’s Make Waves palette. I love the neutrals in the All Day Affair, but I’m equally just as much of a sucker for those nice shades of green in the Let’s Make Waves palette!
