Let me first start by saying I know these bags are on the pricier side. However, after using mine for nearly two years and loving them MORE than the day I bought them, I can confidently say…

These reusable silicone bags are worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! 👏

*Above are some of the exact bags I’ve owned for nearly two years and they still look brand new! 🤩

I was first drawn to reusable silicone Stasher bags when I felt how great the quality is in person. They’re unparalleled to any other reusable bag so there was no question in my mind I’d be investing in these after many other brands failed me.

Stasher bags also boast a bunch of other impressive features most other reusable bags don’t have:

  • Microwave-safe pop popcorn, steam broccoli, and so much more!
  • Non-toxic completely free of BPA, BPS, lead, latex, and phthalates.
  • Fridge-friendly keep cheese, guacamole, and virtually anything else fresh!
  • Freezer-safe – keep fish, burgers, vegetables, and other freezer-friendly foods safe and fresh.
  • Oven strong high-grade silicone can stand up to high temps.
  • Sous vide ready throw in a filet of fish, steak, you name it… these bags can handle it!
  • Dishwasher-safe easy clean-up and can even go on the bottom rack!
  • Patented Pinch-Loc seal easy to open and shut every single time.
  • Compact design unused bags take up little room in your drawers; even when they’re being used, they’re slim and compact.
  • Durable & made of platinum silicone – the best money can buy.

These reusable bags have been endlessly versatile for me and my family.

We’ve used our Stasher bags in so many ways and year-round! From stashing snacks on hot summer days at the pool to hiking all day to packing cosmetics for vacation, there are a million and one ways you can use these bags.

The best part of all?

After every use, you can wash them in the dishwasher and they’re good as new when they come out. I have washed ours countless times in the dishwasher (even on the bottom rack!) and every time they come out looking new! 🤩

Plus, thanks to the curved design of the inside of each Stasher bag, it’s a cinch to wipe dry if there’s any residual water after a dishwasher run. This also means there’s no need to worry about germs collecting in tight places. But even then, they’re made of silicone, so they’re naturally antimicrobial. 🙌

I can’t emphasize enough how durable they are!

I’ve heard from readers in the past who claimed their Stasher bags have ripped, but I’ve stretched these babies over our dishwasher racks a hundred times over and I’ve never had one rip on me…or even come close.

If it’s any consolation, I still own every single Stasher bag I’ve ever bought (and I’m still buying more so I have an epic stash)! 👏🏻

To top it off, none of them have staining or any signs of wear despite using them daily!

Their innovative bags don’t stop there either.

The patented Pinch-Loc design makes these bags especially durable with the ability to make everything you store airtight.

With a simple fold of the bag to squeeze out excess air and a few pinches at the top to close, you have an easy-shut, airtight bag that’s truly unlike the rest! I’ve stored everything from frozen fish to peas and they’ve proven to be fool-proof with every use.

Say goodbye to the days of wrangling around with faulty zip closures and seals. These Stasher reusable bags are legit, my friend! 👏🏻

The stand-up Stasher bags are by far my favorite (although I absolutely love all of them) but this style speaks to my organization-loving heart! It’s super easy when I’m prepping food to have it standing on the counter or having them stashed away nice and neat in my pantry so everything is easy to see.

Which size would I need to get for 2 lb block of cheese ?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Hi, Amber! I talked to Sara who has been using Stasher bags a long time. This is what she said, “I honestly wouldn’t recommend storing blocks of cheese long-term in a Stasher bags because it’s hard to squeeze out all of the air around them and I’ve found they get hard around the edges and moldy faster. I would recommend the Bees Wraps I love for blocks of cheese.” Here’s Sara’s post about the Bees Wraps: https://hip2save.com/product-reviews/beeswax-wraps/

I grate cheese and then store it in the upright medium bag. I think it’s a least 1 lb that I am able to store. Love these bags

I store blocks of cheese in these all the time with no problems.

  2. JENNIFER

I love these but regular price isn’t that high at REI or Whole Foods. My pet peeve is stores marking things up and then putting them on “sale.” It’s so shady & I’m disappointed in Macys for it.

I love these bags though! For folks into shorter backpacking trips, they work well for dehydrated food. You can add boiling water right into the bag and they’re sturdier than a Ziploc.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thank you so much for your comments and tips!

  3. Jaime

These are the best bags. I have purchased other brands and they do not compare. I always stock up when I can. They are so versatile.

    • Sara (Hip Sidekick)

So glad to hear you love them too, Jaime! I couldn’t agree more that they just don’t compare to other brands! Thanks for stopping by. πŸ™‚

  4. Heidi Hill Baenen

I love these bags and have several. However, I sometimes have a hard time getting them open as it can be hard to tell where to pull apart. Anyone else have this problem or have a solution?

  5. Taryn S.

Have you used them to store/freeze raw meat/chicken? If so, do you feel confident after you clean them that you can use them again to store other perishable food items?

    • Sara (Hip Sidekick)

      Hey Taryn!

Yes, I have used Stasher bags for storing raw meat in the freezer and have had zero issues and never second-guess storing other foods in them after they’ve been washed. In fact, Stasher bags are also made for sous vide cooking so using them for raw meat is encouraged. πŸ™‚ The only raw food I wouldn’t recommend storing in the freezer is fish unless it’s already frozen. I once put some fresh fish from our local market in a half-gallon size and even after freezing it, I felt like I could smell it in our fridge. I hope this helped answer your question!

        Thanks Sara!

I love these bags as well. Way stronger than Ziploc bags. Checkout dbossladyfinds in YouTube for posting on these bags at Costco. They’re a little cheaper. That’s where I got mine as clearance.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the heads up on where you’ve scored yours! Glad you’re loving them too! πŸŽ‰β€οΈ

I am totally addicted to these. I store cut veggies, cookies, honey roasted almonds I roast myself, ends of chip bags, and tons of other stuff in these. Amazing!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Wow! Awesome that they’ve been helpful to store so many different foods! Thanks for the heads up on how you’ve been using them! πŸŽ‰πŸ™Œ
