One thing about using a VPN to watch international shows, particularly in the UK…they have pretty savvy tracking and it is rare that I have been able to watch BBC.co.uk or Netflix UK without it eventually figuring out I am using a VPN to mask my location. So you may want to try it with a VPN for a bit to ensure it works for you.
I’ve been using NordVPN for a few months. I have the BBC iplayer and 99% of the time I have no problem viewing it. Once or twice, I got a message saying that it wasn’t available in my location, but I switched my connection on NordVPN to another location within the UK and was able to view iplayer content again.
