We’re big fans of the yummy Chick-fil-A Frosted Lemonade!
It’s a perfect combination of their fresh lemonade and creamy vanilla ice cream, or “Icedream” as the popular restaurant chain calls it. Now you can make your own creamy frosted lemonade copycat recipe! It’s such a refreshing treat, especially during the summer, and it’s something my kids always ask for.
We recently made a DIY version, and it’s super easy to whip up at home! The process is basically making a little bit of homemade lemonade, and then blending it with some yummy vanilla ice cream. If desired, you can top it with some whipped cream and a cherry on top for a delicious treat.
Hip Tips:
- It’s so easy to adapt to your taste! Just use a favorite store-bought lemonade instead if you’d like.
- Chill your lemonade before adding it to the blender. I think making ice cubes from lemonade would work fabulously, too!
- Use a thicker milkshake straw to serve, and it’ll be easier to sip on!
- Need a great lemon juicer? We have this Zulay manual juicer and love how easy it is to use.

This creamy frosted lemonade will be your new favorite way to cool off!
My kids like to try different flavored milkshakes, and this one is a winner! It’s an easy and fun copycat, and we love it!
Try making this homemade pineapple Dole whip, too!
These are delicious, I also love their key lime one, do you know if thereβs a copy cat for that? Thanks Lina for ALL your great recipes!
Funny, I refuse to give them money, so I came to ask for a key lime copycat too.
I give frequent Chick-fil-A and give them my money every chance I get. Great company, great people. Since they are now the second largest fast food chain, a good many people feel the same way I do.
Not even close to 2nd place – whether by gross sales or number of stores. Doesn’t even come close to competing with the big fast food powerhouses. And many, many people feel the same way as Jennifer so that is why they will never be able to compete with the big boys.
According to an article from businessinsider.com from June 18th of this year, Chick-fil-A is indeed the 3rd largest restaurant chain in America. Great company, great values, great food!
Hi there! It looks like you could make that if you added the sugar free lime flavoring to the recipe idea above.

Hope that helps!
Thanks amber, where would I find the sugar free lime flavoring?

Hereβs one!
Thanks so much, will be making soon.
Funny, I was just thinking about this the other day after I made a pitcher of the Keto lemonade on the the sister site. Just swap out the regular ice cream for Rebel vanilla and this will make for a sweet treat the 4th of July!
So smart! Great idea π
Oh myyyyy my kids will be so happy. Last year we moved to an area that does not have Chick-fil-A. A small part of us died. We will definitely be making this. Thanks!
Oh Iβm so glad Elizabeth! Enjoy π
On another note. Chick-fil-a cow day is coming up!!ππ½. Thank you Lina for the wonderful recipe.
Oh awesome! Youβre so welcome π
Love anything Chick-fil-A! Thanks for this recipe.
I make this copycat with coolwhip instead of ice cream, just to give myself a treat with less calories. You just have to remember to defrost it and fold vs blend because the air will go out of the whip.
Love this tip!! Thank you!
I love that tip, Daniela! Thanks a ton for the suggestion!
Y’all should also try Auntie Anne’s strawberry lemonade frost. It is sooo refreshing on a hot day ππβοΈπ.
(Think they will have it for 2 more months).
My favorite is their Strawberry Frosted Lemonade. I just don’t know if they add strawberries to the regular frosted lemonade or if they use strawberry icecream? π€
