Give them the names and ages of your kids????

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Jodi! It seems that when you complete a profile for your child that includes their birthday and first name, Amazon can better provide you with age-based recommendations for children up to 12 years of age. Hoping this might be helpful! ❤️

I’m kind of debating that one as well , Jodi.

Yeah, I wouldn’t give Amazon the names or ages of ANYONE else that I know, much less minor children. Why would Amazon need that, anyway? It already gives product suggestions based on what I’ve already bought. Why would they also need the names and ages of these kids I buy books and toys for?
People are too quick to give up personal information to save a few dollars. Giving up information on children ….for money….is pretty pale.

          Amen sister, stay vigulent.

I don’t give my kids’ actual info out either. I always put in “skewed” info when it comes to my children. No one is verifying it’s actually correct.

Yes you just use made-up names. It’s not like they’re coming to your door to verify lol!
