The Bath & Body Works candle day sale is now over for 2020 (it took place on December 4-6th, 2020), but we’ve got some awesome tips below to help you save money on their popular candles ALL YEAR LONG!
What is Candle Day?
This once-a-year sale usually falls on the first Saturday in December (however, it actually started on Friday, December 4th this year and ran for 3 total days) and is when Bath & Body Works offers their popular 3-Wick Candles for over 60% off. Plus, they send out popular mailer or email coupons around this time that can be stacked with this sale, making the candles up to 75% off!

Bath & Body Works sends out various mailer coupons several weeks before Candle Day that often include free product coupons with NO purchase required, $15 off $40 purchase, 20% off, and more!
If you’re not on their mailing list yet, head on over here and choose the “Mailing Address Add/Update” option from the drop-down menu and enter your information. And, did you know that if you receive a mailer with several coupons attached on the same card, you can use ALL three coupons in one transaction? Yes, it’s true!

Thanks for keeping us up to date on this. I am still waiting on even a confirmation of shipment for an order I made online on 11/29! For sure buying at the store from now on and mailing out gifts/Christmas cards tomorrow. No way am I stressing on a gift getting there on time.
My gf was able to finally order 9 of them before they all went out of stock. I went down to the store on my lunch and they had all of them in stock and only about 10 people in the store.

You can stack the $10 off $40 with the free gift coupon and the $8 Vanilla Bean Noel body care coupon that all came in the same mailer…it says so on the coupon and I did today. I bought four candles, a men’s body spray and a $1.50 hand sanitizer holder ( as a filler) using the $10/$40 and free item and paying around $33 with tax.
If anyones a veteran or military, shopmyexchange.com has the same candles for the same price tax free and their single wicks are two for $15.
I’m on there now and the single wicks are $13.99. Luckily I got my online order in at B&BW.com at 5AM, thanks to husband having to be up for PT!
What an absolute poop show today. The website was down almost all day and somehow they ran out of candles. Like people are shopping online in a pandemic, nah let’s make them go in store. Even in store pick up was messed up.
Went to the local store this afternoon. Was in line for only about 10 minutes. Got in and out in no time and they had plenty of candles in store. Came out to about 7.00 and something a candle with the 20 percent off purchase coupon. Sounds like it was more of a headache to order online. I did hear a candle break in store….that’s always fun on candle day.

I got there at 8:30 in the morning and I was the second one in line. Got in the store and got out in less than 15 minutes. They had tons and tons of candles. When the store opened at 6:30 there was a line down the street, I don’t need candles that bad. 😂Also I was told that they will no longer honor coupons three days prior to the start day or three days after expiration.

I was online at 6:00 am. Took a couple of tries to get the site to connect.
Was able to order 10 candles.
I did the same, ordered at 6:02 am ET.. so 2 minutes after it started I had my confirmation email.. just got an email today cancelling my order!! Did this happen to anyone else?
Yes, they cancelled mine as well today and I called them and they wont honor that price. They did this on purpose… I have waited all year for Candle day and I get this 5 days after I placed my order at 7am on Friday. Never again… they just lost a loyal customer!!!

The online day is over. It was December 4th. The rest is in-store only through December 6th (Sunday).

I made my husband go to mall of america and got 12 sweater weather candles. It was sold out everywhere at 8am.

I think ridiculous that a customer is allowed that many candles to.purchase. Now none left for the rest of us. I also have called them because I never get any emails or coupons.

They cancelled my candles too! I ordered them early in the morning. Makes absolutely no sense. They had them listed for several hours after I ordered. Shopping elsewhere. Don’t need my Christmas gifts not showing up. 2020 is bad enough.
Ordered candles on 11/30 and have not heard anything from them, didn’t get an email when shipped. eould love to know when they will be here.
I bought 52 and put it on fb live because I could not believe how many people were willing to wait in line outside in the rain for candles. I will be set for the year I think lol.
For me, the sale was a joke this year. The website kept crashing, and then I finally got through and ordered 10 candles. I am getting emails from them almost every day saying “I am sorry but that is sold out.” Who does their inventory that they can’t keep track of what is available on the website. They sent me a 20% off coupon for the “inconvenience”. That is nothin g on a 24.95 candle. What they should have done is honored the 9.95 price and let me pick another scent in it’s place or wait until it was restocked.
They just sent an email to everyone who got their order canceled with a coupon to get the candle day sale from December 13 – March
