That’s Me Loving You by Amy Krouse Rosenthal is a board book that I got for my 4 year old after losing her grandmother. Death is hard to explain to small children, and this book helped my child process spiritually. However, it is not a religious book, nor does it reference death at all. It let’s the parent fill in the details with whatever backstory you have for your child. I don’t know if it is on sale, but I just thought I’d take a moment to mention it, because it really helped my child and me at a time when we needed it the most.
