This book perfectly expresses a mother’s unconditional love for their children in a non-gooey and gushy way. The author playfully inserted magic words that kids love like ‘stinky’, ‘dinosaurs’, ‘monsters’, and ‘aliens’ – perfect for kids all while mom’s can get away with saying the sappy ‘I love you’ eleven times in a row – thirteen if you read the front and back covers too! Love, love, love reading this book to my kids!” – Anna

“Whenever I’m invited to a baby shower, this is always a gift I love to give. I have even given this book as a house warming gift! This book beautifully teaches feelings, selfishness, selflessness, caring, and giving. It really tugs at all the emotions everyone goes through one time or another or even all at once. It has turned into a discussion book for all my grandkids. Through your own eyes, minds & hearts is how each person feels & experiences when they read this book.” – Denise

Buy it on Amazon$6.94

This brilliant book is about one small child’s idea and how he brought it into the world. When reading it with your own children, you’ll be teaching them that their own thoughts, whether they’re different, daring, and even a little wild, will never be too big, too odd, or too difficult to watch grow.

“There are so very many outstanding children’s books on the market, but this one is unique! The author takes a complex concept and does an outstanding job in putting said concept into words. I buy this book for first-time parents often and I recommend it for shower gifts all the time. One father-to-be told me he had read it at least six times….and the baby hasn’t arrived yet.” – Brad

“My gerontology professor in graduate school read Love You Forever to our class one evening. My tears started to flow. Listening to this charming and lovely story was a very emotional experience and a memorable experience that remains with me. This morning, a friend on social media asked for assistance in recommending favorite books for children. Immediately my thoughts went to Love You Forever.

I highly recommend this book for kids, gifts for babies, young children, tweens, and even teens, and adults of all ages. It is one of the most beautiful, sentimental, and empathetically written books of all time.” – Lorraine

I love you stinky face was on of my daughters favorite stories growing up. She’s even gotten a tattoo of one of the characters from the book, she’s 22 now

That’s Me Loving You by Amy Krouse Rosenthal is a board book that I got for my 4 year old after losing her grandmother. Death is hard to explain to small children, and this book helped my child process spiritually. However, it is not a religious book, nor does it reference death at all. It let’s the parent fill in the details with whatever backstory you have for your child. I don’t know if it is on sale, but I just thought I’d take a moment to mention it, because it really helped my child and me at a time when we needed it the most.
