Turn your family photos into Christmas gifts with one of these photo deals!
Every year, the staples xmas cards get worse and worse.. I have so many friends disappointed in them and returned them.. ..the Groupon for Photo Affections is much better !
If you select the option to have the cards mailed to you, you will get their lab printing. It is much better quality than the store printing. It’s an extra $10. It used to be a good deal to pay the extra $10 when the Groupon was low. 50 cards used to be $14 if I recall correctly. Then it went up starting last year.
Wish I had seen this before! I just picked mine up and I hate it. Terrible quality
I second photo affections groupon – great quality! However the Groupon is only for a one sided card so you will have to pay to upgrade if you want color on the back also
My Staples must be rare then, because I always get really nice looking cards from them. I have ordered from them for the past five Christmases and this year I also use them to make graduation announcements for my daughter and I was impressed every time.
No, I’ve used Staples for all my card needs for years. I LOVE them. And even bounce around from different locations. I’m a little sad they upped the quantity (we got down to order 25) but I’ll be ordering the 50 pack because I can not NOT use Staples again since they’ve been so awesome in the past.
I’ve struggled with Costco quality and Walgreens/CVS/Shutterfly always look cheap IMO.
I feel like quality can come and go. I’ve had good experiences at Staples and not so great. I love the convenience of ordering and picking up when ready, though, so I may go that route this year. Photo Affections has always had great cards for us, though. But we upgrade to 2 sided and it ends up getting a little pricier than I would like, even with the Groupon. Thanks for posting, H2S! I need to get on this and get my Groupon.
You’re SO welcome!
How is the quality of Sams Club cards? Better than Walgreens?!
Are Costco cards mailed or pickup in store? Is there a cost for shipping?
Apparently all Costco locations closed their in-store photo departments. I don’t see any option other than shipping.
Wondering about SAMs too, if anyone has used? Also, just wondering would these (all seem to be 5×7) require regular one stamp postage?
We always use sams club. I like their quality and have never had any issues.
Ummmm how can anyone afford mailing 200 cards out? Lol
Is there a big/visible difference is photo quality between standard card stock and premium? Could anyone comment on Walgreens photo card quality?
I highly recommend the Staples cards–just DO NOT do in-store pickup. The quality of the ones printed in store are not very good, and the cuts are not very crisp. This year, I did the Groupon offer and paid the extra $5 to have them shipped–much better quality. (TIP: Try to choose close-up photos; they turn out much better when printed.) Plus, you could opt for free rounded edges on your cards when you get them shipped. 50 cards for under $30 shipped–yes, please! Plus, remember that people throw these away in 3-4 weeks. You don’t need to go crazy with them, haha!
I’m amazed what people will spend on these cards and everyone just throws them away! I bought the ones from Walmart and thought they’re pretty nice for the price.
It looks like Sams only offers the glossy kind, not card-stock, is that correct?
Can anyone recommend the best place to order small quantities? I need only 10 cards. Thank you! 🙂
