I have always been reluctant to try one of these services because of the unknowns. However, I tried EveryPlate and the food is excellent. I selected the easy-to-prepare meals and they were exactly that. The instructions were so easy to follow and the end result was delicious.
My family loves EveryPlate. They like the variety of food and recipes and I like how easy they are to make. I had a lot of skepticism trying this out because the price was so cheap. I did not think it would feed a family of four, but it is always plenty of food for the family. I highly recommend them!
I have been using this service for a few months now…what I like about it is it’s all delivered to my home and I don’t have to plan or think about what to make for dinner… my biggest downfall is what to plan for dinner and I get into a rut about what is easy! So it’s all here for you!
Another bonus is my kids like every meal..they are teenage girls. Never complain about dinner. Also, I can add to it if I need to for a family of four. I can actually find these ingredients in the store while some other meal services are like” wow I can’t find that spice or that ingredient” Even though they are good you can’t duplicate it! EveryPlate I can! So I like it; yes I do find there are a lot of carrots but I tend to use other veggies if I don’t feel like it! But I have to say roasted veggies are great!! I use the air fryer as well..turns out fab!

I have been doing Every Plate for a couple months after having Hello Fresh for about a year. They are both from the same company but Every Plate is a cheaper because there are fewer menu options and you have to separate the ingredients for each meal vs coming bagged by meal. To the point of your question…we have never found any of the meals to be too spicy. My husband has very little tolerance for spicy and he has yet to complain. I tend to pick the more non-traditional meals so we try new things like the Asian or Latin inspired meals. There are some in which they recommend how to make it spicier but most are pretty tame.
Also – you can easily skip any week that doesn’t have meals that appeal to you. We often do a box every other week and its as easy as clicking one button to skip. No charge or penalty for skipping weeks.
We have been getting Every Plate for about a month now. My husband and I love these! My picky teen daughter not so much. But I make a separate simple meal for her that she eats off of for several days or she makes her own after work. I have to say that using this has kept me from going to the grocery store as much and has helped cut our grocery bill because of this. I like that I can change the meal servings (when my oldest comes to visit for the weekend) and the number of meals I want delivered. I HATE meal planning so this has taken that stress away and added lots of variety to our dinners.
I love Every Plate. The potatoes are yummy. You can switch some things for other like green beans for carrots. I am hoping to not waste so much food with this. I would recommend Every Plate

I ordered 5 meals for 4 people at $99, adding on an additional $47.92 for two nights of premium meals (4 steaks/fries & 4 scallops meals), plus taxes and shipping (?), minus $70 promo = $87.71 That’s less than one night’s average restaurant bill for us. This is a good deal once you add in the convenience factor and every meal I ordered has meat for 5 meals for 4 adults. $4.38 per person per meal. 17.50 per night for 4 adults when averaging regular and premium meals. Cheaper than going out to a restaurant or eating fast food, but not cheaper than cooking for yourself. The recipes also have nutritional information. Just click on the picture to find it. My daughter has her first college apartment this year so I’ll try to convince her she should cook these before she leaves for school since they have detailed instructions 🙂

I started using Everyplate about a month ago and my family loves it.I love the convenience and most meals take under 30 minutes to make.The meals are yummy(I haven’t eaten one that I haven’t liked). There are 3 of us in our family,but I order the 4 servings meals and there is always plenty.I paid about $50 for the last box I received and that was for 5 meals/4 servings.You really can’t beat the price.If I went to the store I know I would pay way more than that for 5 meals.

I have been using EveryPlate for over a year. Separating the ingredients is very simple. The meals are good with lots of options. I’m vegetarian and I’ve been very happy with the ease of the food prep, freshness of the ingredients, and the taste of the meals.

We love EveryPlate! I remember getting the Black Friday deal last year and didn’t think I would actually renew after the deal…We’ve actually lost weight since we’re eating “real” unprocessed foods now! The menu gives you 10+ choices each week – easy to find something everyone will like. It’s a lot of chopping (potatoes, onions, etc), but the more you practice the faster you get (and a chopper helps!) My husband and I get the 4 servings of 3 meals a week and it’s perfect for dinners and whatever is left over can be taken to work for lunch.

I’ve tried several meal kit companies and this one is definitely the cheapest, but that doesn’t mean you’re going to get a subpar meal. In fact, many of their meals taste better than those I’ve tried from the more expensive companies, though I do think some of the “basic ingredients” they expect you to have on-hand can be a bit unexpected — sugar, brown sugar, mayo, eggs. I’d definitely recommend this service.
