    Avoid them for contacts. They didn’t even look at my prescription and sent the wrong power! I only ordered one box. I was getting terrible headaches and needed the correct power ASAP to work. They sent me -12 and the RX was -11.5. Their customer service was horrible! They totally screwed up and told me it would take 2 weeks to process after they received the incorrect lenses back and 2 weeks to ship back! Where were the lenses being sent back to and shipped from? A warehouse 45 minutes south of me. Ridiculous.

    Does anyone know if you have to have a prescription within the past year to order? For example when I try to order contacts (from anywhere) they have to check with my eye doctor’s office before they will finalize the order. I’m about 1.5 years since my last appointment but would love some updates glasses to get me through until Covid settles down (I’m in a hot spot.)

    Also, is the prescription info on my box of contacts enough info to order glasses?

      Most of these discount eyewear sites run shady practices. They fax the prescription to the doctor in the middle of the night when they know the Dr. isn’t there to approve it. The Dr. only has a certain number of hours to reply. If they don’t, the online site approves it anyway. You get whatever they think you need, not what your doctor thinks is best. Call your local Optometrist, and see if they can get you a pair of glasses. Most will work with you during Covid season.

    Avoid them, period. Awful customer service/resolution ability. Took them 4 weeks to ship my wife’s glasses and they wouldn’t reply to her calls or emails asking for updates, not even the managers. Also, two of my daughters and I received our glasses in a timely manner, but one pair was produced entirely wrong, and the other two pairs are falling apart after 1 month. 10/10 would recommend you spend your money elsewhere.
    They offer cheap glasses and what you get is a pair of really cheaply made glasses. I’m trying Zenni Optical next.

      Thank you for the review Melissa. I have been wondering whether to try them or not, but my gut was telling me no, but they keep having these great deals so I keep getting tempted. You brought me back to the reality of what can really happen at these online glasses stores. I think I’ll stick to the brick and mortar stores where I can walk in and get assistance and adjustments to my glasses.
