Would you love to know whether your local Target, Walmart, CVS/Pharmacy, Staples, The Home Depot, Lowe’s, and/or Office Depot/OfficeMax has items in stock and what the price is before you leave home? Well, you can!

With the Brickseek Inventory checker, you can save time and money by checking to see if your local store has items you want in stock and what the price is before making a special trip! 🚗 Pretty awesome, right?!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Sometimes these inventory systems can be wrong due to theft, loss, and other circumstances. Be sure to call your local store to confirm details on inventory.

All the Walmarts in my area are notorious for showing an item is in stock at the store and then when you get to the store they can’t produce the item.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Bummer! Sorry to hear that, Malinda. Hoping you have more success on your next search!

    • rochellemcgee

Yup, it’s frankly useless when it comes to Target or Walmart for quantities. Brickseek said in their newsletter this week that their quantities for Walmart will now display in “ranges,” which is even worse than the old system that simply gave inaccurate numbers.

    • Susan L Edsall

This has happened to me so many times. That is because they are not updating their inventory every night. They are suppose to run an update on their computers every night, but they don’t. Don’t know if corporate tells them not too or they just don’t do it.

  2. IB

Brickseek is notorious for being wrong..especially for Walmart.

  3. Laura Posthuma

I agree with the Walmart posts. Last time I used it, Brickseek said that Walmart had 22 of an item. When I arrived, had none, and the associate said that they had been out for quite awhile.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn. Thanks does sound frustrating. Thanks for taking the time to share how it has worked for you, Laura.

  4. T1

Why don’t you try zooLert’s local inventory checkers.

  5. Jenn Z

If your Walmart has a high rate of theft then items will sometimes remain to show in stock. Also, my store donated some seasonal items and the system was never updated. Sometimes an item is glitched but about 70% that item is somewhere in the store. HTH

    • Colleen

Make sure when you call you ask to be directed to the department for a stock check too. After checking Brickseek I called the store and confirm they had it in inventory. I drove an hour to that Walmart to pick the item up just to find out they didn’t have it. I was bummed :(. Lesson learned.

  6. JenB

Don’t call and ask about items that have a great price on Brickseek because you are alerting them that there’s a great deal on something and they might lie and say they have none and then go get it for themselves.

Also don’t mention Brickseek to employees. If it says “limited stock” there might be none at all. You have to look in strange places to find some things.

    • juma

Agree with Jen. I have found a few things on my own by looking high/low on the shelves. Then I ask an employee to check the back for an item but never show brickseeks ad, I will have it either on the Walmart app or in a google search. Sometimes I get lucky sometimes I don’t. Missed a great copy paper deal a while back and while I was searching another lady was to. She asked the employee about the item and the employee told her there was a pallet full left and was sold to one person earlier ugh. I only wanted a box for work/home.

I love this post! Lowe’s had Tide Ultra Oxi 115 oz on sale for $7.16, regular $11.94. I also received 10% off using my Military discount making each bottle only $6.44. Great stock up price for me and I totally stocked up going to 2 locations.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Great score, Thia! Thanks for letting us know about the savings you were able to snag!

  8. kathidawn

The Target app is a nice place to check however it’s not always accurate due to theft, employee error or it might still be in the boxes from a shipment not yet unpacked.

    • Dana

Or in our case, they are remodeling the store and haven’t updated the location 🤦🏻‍♀️
