Question re Kohl’s cash. If I had an in-store purchase on Wed, Nov 25, totaling $30 (not enough tho to get Kohl’s cash) and then purchased $40 worth of items today, Nov 25, online (still not enough to get Kohl’s cash)… can I still combine the receipts which total $70 — enough to get the $15 Kohl’s cash (spend $50, get $15 KC)? Will it show up automatically in my account/wallet as I did use my Kohl’s card both times. Or do I need to show the receipts? or Should I call Customer Service for my account for assistance? Thanks for any suggestions/advice!
It’s not something that is automatic. You’ll need to call customer service for help. In my previous experience, they would not combine my online deals with my in-store deals for Kohl’s cash. I think it’s worth asking though.
I have done it at store. But not every store will honor it.
I just did it in store. I purchased some things online $32 worth, because the items weren’t available in store, and then bought the rest in store $70 worth. Once I had both receipts with order number, they combined them and in store it printed me out my second kohl’s cash. So not sure about calling customer service, but it was possible. (Although, I asked customer service in store if it was possible, they said yes, when I got up front, the cashier didn’t think it was possible, so they called up a manager to help teach them how). Hope that helps.
When I was in the store on Wed with my grandson, the clerk said I was $20 away from getting the Kohl’s cash and if I wanted to look online there, and have it shipped for free, I could get the Kohl’s cash. But I wasn’t finding then what I wanted and figured I’d just wait until I got home. Well, on Thurs I decided to look and see what was available for the granddaughter’s and their stuff was marked down AND I was able to use the 15% off BF deal so I didn’t even think I’d have enough to bother with the KC. Well… I did if I can combine the purchases since they are within the same KC deal timeframe. I think I’ll call Kohl’s corporate that handles the accounts and talk with them about it as they will see the 2 purchases. I’ve had to talk with them before about being charged for shipping when I had selected store pickup and they were able to help me with that. Like Jennifer said, doesn’t hurt to ask. I was just wondering if anyone had something similar happen. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Kohls has the worst customer service. It takes hours for you to get a supervisor/ manager. The customer service agents are not empowered to do much. I buy a lot for a shelter ( thousands of dollars) and have had numerous problems lately ( wrong items, wrong prices). The issues have been escalated to the office of the president and it takes forever to resolve anything. As much as we like the Kohl’s Cash and rebates, to “recycle” to buy more goods, we are re-thinking about giving them so much business.
Ive had a lot of wrong items sent recently way before the holiday rush and I called and they still sent the wrong items again. Not sure what is going on over there. I wondered if it was just me with getting wrong colors or sizes of stuff.
Yep, me too! Almost everything I ordered for back to school from kohls came as an incorrect item. Really a hassle to deal with them…I’m staying away from kohls for holiday shopping this year.
I called the 800 number for Kohls.com. I got right in and had a respectful, friendly rep. She informed me in a nutshell that to get Kohl’s Cash it has to be one transaction since they are each handled/processed differently. Now I know for next year. So I got online and reordered everything including an extra item to get to $50. I did earn the KC. I’m not seeing it tho in my email yet. Will that come when everything has been shipped? Or eventually go directly to my “wallet”? I’ll either donate the original/duplicate items or return them.
I just read it could take 24 hours to show up in my email. It’ll come in handy when I finish up Christmas shopping for several of my grandkids.
Kohls cash question- I ordered the Barbie dream house and got the $60 kohls cash. I never got the email, but see it in my wallet. However, it says “PENDING”. What does that mean? The house was already delivered, so why would it still be pending?
It’s pending because you can’t use the Kohl’s cash until November 27.

I rarely shop at kohls anymore, they were my go to for everything and everyone, but now, their prices are more expensive than ever, and their biggest sales are more expensive, than their regular “get lucky ” 40 percent off, they have lost a lot of business, I have been a shopper for 20 years, and now I am sad, and have no choice but to shop elsewhere..
