Just curious as to what these apps do with your data and tracking all your expenses, I work in IT and some of this stuff makes me nervous coz I wonder if its their way to get to your info – credit card, spending etc…Thoughts?

My favorite by far is the Fetch app as it is super easy and you can use pretty much any receipt. (Bonus: I’ve actually used the app to look up old receipts to check prices, dates, etc for various reasons.)
I also like ibotta as they have larger reward amounts although it can be more time consuming to match up items to your receipt. Thank goodness for H2S’s posts that mention ibotta items! I did add the ibotta app to my laptop so that I get a small percentage back for shopping online with most retailers. I just have to activate it using the ibotta pop-up.

Receipt Pal doesn’t work for me because I don’t have an amazon account. It doesn’t have a button to take pictures of of any receipts when I download it.
My favorite is Fetch. I used to be in the first trial of it but wasn’t a fan. My receipts wouldn’t scan right so they weren’t accepted and other things. I quit (wish I hadn’t as I lost all those points) but I am glad they got all the kinks worked out. I love it now.
I can’t use ReceiptPal because I don’t have an amazon account. Every time I download it there are no offers or a place to click to scan receipts. LOL Just my info on the app.
Let me just tell you…be careful with Ibotta. They accused me of doctoring a receipt because it was one of those that if it gets wrinkly gets black lines in it and kicked me off the app. They won’t let me use it now even though I took tons of pictures of the receipt to show them, offered to send them the receipt, offered to get a new one. They weren’t having it. So be careful what you do

I love Fetch, my friend told me about it in Jan, and I’ve made $20 already. I do forget at times to take a pic of every receipt, but you start to remember not to throw them away! Also, I like that they do e-reciepts for my Amazon purchases:)

I love swagbucks. They have a lot of download apps and earn for hitting a specific level. I’ve done a bunch of these in my free time. Kinda fun!
I joined Rakuten in 2014, and I’ve had $1063 total cash back. My biggest one was when I bought Nectar mattress on Black Friday with 10% cash back! I also like Fetch. I just scan any receipt, even gas receipt. It takes a while because it’s only 25 points per receipt, unless you purchase something that matches the items they have online.
I use quite a few of these and they are great! Another that is super simple is Amazon Shoppers Panel. Just upload 10 receipts a month and get a $10 Amazon credit! They also have occasional surveys so I average about $11 a month.

Yes! I have the Amazon shoppers panel. That’s the easiest $10 ever! Plus the 25 cents surveys. But nit everyone is qualified. I told my SIL about it, and she said she’s not qualified. I guess she does not buy as much as I do🤣😂😉
ReceiptJar is another good one. You can link your Amazon, Walmart and Costco account. It’s very similar to Receipt Hog. Ive only had it for about a month and ive already cashed out $5! Here’s my referral code if your interested! CATHCH43T
Another good one is Drop. It’s available for iOS and Android – here’s their main website. joindrop .com (without the space), referral code rq655. You can shop through the app, play games, do surveys, and link your credit cards to earn without doing anything. You are considered “Premium” if you add at least one credit card, then every Wednesday go into the app and activate the premium offers and once a month you get 1000 bonus points. I’ve been on it since early 2021 and have redeemed $75 so far and have enough points for over $30 more. I make sure to activate the premium offers but otherwise don’t do much with it, just let it give me points when I use my credit card at one of their stores (Amazon and Sam’s Club are two of the many options).
Has anyone else noticed that the number of walk-ins available on Shopkick has decreased significantly recently? My husband and I do date nights and have fun with walk-ins and scans but TJMaxx and Marshalls (large walk-ins) have disappeared 🙁
