Sam’s Club has revealed its Black Friday game plan for 2020!

Sam’s Club has announced its plans for the holiday shopping season, and this year the warehouse club is promising to roll out more days of deals, more Member exclusives, and more special experiences for its members than ever, all season long.

Due to COVID-19, many shoppers plan to start their shopping earlier this year and do more of it online. Sam’s Club has adjusted its traditional Black Friday shopping experience in response to this shift. They are also hiring 2,000 additional supply chain associates to help them deal with the anticipated surge in demand during what is expected to be a busy shopping season.

In years past, Sam’s Club offered multiple opportunities to save on holiday shopping, with some of the biggest savings offered during its One-Day Savings Events held in November and December. This year, Sam’s Club will offer an extended approach to holiday savings with the following events:

  • Beginning Oct. 4: October Savings Event
  • Oct. 28 to Nov. 29: November Instant Savings
  • Nov. 7 to Nov. 15: November Savings Event (extended from one day to nine days)
  • Nov. 20 to Nov. 29: 10 Days of Thanks-Savings (extended from four days to 10 days)
  • Nov. 30: Cyber Monday Online-Only Savings Event
  • Dec. 1 to Dec. 24: December Instant Savings
  • Dec. 5 to Dec. 13: December Savings Event (extended from one day to nine days)

This year, for the first time ever, Sam’s Club will also unveil all of its November deals in a single savings book, making it easier than ever for members to prepare for their holiday shopping.

The savings book will be mailed to members’ homes during the week of October 21. The December deals will be also be shared with members in one book that will be mailed to their homes in late November.

Sam’s Club is still maintaining a little bit of mystery though, and they plan to keep the treasure-hunt aspect of Black Friday alive by rolling out new and exclusive surprises like gaming systems, jewelry, toys, holiday décor, and more both in-store and online.

These items will be released at multiple times throughout the season. Rather than drawing a big crowd on one day, the idea is to give members something new to find every time they shop online or come into the club for essentials.

This year, members will be able to shop in-club or online for pick up at all 597 club locations. Curbside pickup, which launched earlier this year, will continue to be available as a contactless shopping option.

I like this idea! I just hope that Sams will have enough inventory to last for the duration of those sales.

i got a package from sam’s club today. I big container of m&ms. I don’t have a sam’s club membership nor have a ever purchased from them before. They won’t give me any info as to when the order was placed or help me figure out what happened. I’m not pleased

Someone must of placed an order and either that person messed up on the address or the deliverer did. Sam’s won’t give any info because it’s invasion of privacy for the person who actually placed the order 🤷‍♀️

I feel your pain. Last year I receive bed a 10lb bag of baking soda that I did not order. I When I called, they had no record of the order or who placed it.

      • Julie

Same here. They sent me $10,000 in small bills and I just cannot figure out where to send it back to.

          Lol

Free M and Ms? What’s the problem? Lol

      • Ashley HARNISH

i know but part of me thinks someone stole me information or credit card number… they were just sending the m&ms as a good gesture lol

    • Sparkle63

Wow, then consider it a gift. Take it to work or give it to someone.

    • Kathy

Why would you be not pleased? Enjoy the m&m’s!!

Sometimes the computer systems mess up. I placed an order for chocolates for myself years ago, and days later received a thank you email from someone I had only spoken to and emailed. Never had that person’s residential address. Then I ordered a shirt from Express that ended up miles away from me to a random address. I never figured out how these incidents happened.

My orders usually arrive broken. Like 5 out of 10 are ruined. Friday my order was delivered in Nevada, but I live in Indiana. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The shipping is pretty bad at Sam’s.
